Philip Byers is the creator of the Else Lands, an ever-expanding collection of surreal and fantastical worlds characterized by his unique aesthetic language and their common origin in his subconscious mind. Combining his love for science fiction, fantasy, surrealism, and the manifold beauties of the natural world (particularly clouds!), his work seeks to create a space for wonderment and transport on the part of its viewers.
